Gideon Rozner, the Director of Policy at the Institute of Public Affairs in Melbourne, joined Tucker Carlson on Thursday night to discuss the

Gozner says the police urged the government of Victoria to issue a no-fly zone over Melbourne so people could not see how large the anti-government protests are.

Gideon Rozner: The fact is the coronavirus has completely changed the relationship between government and citizenship in this country.  It has overwhelmed every check and balance in our system…   This is a radically new era we've seen in Australia…    The police in my home state of Victoria asked the Federal Civil Aviation Authority to declare a no-fly zone over Melbourne so commercial media outlets couldn't film the protests in case people saw how big they were and went down and joined in.  That is an extraordinary step for the government to take.  The police censoring the broadcast media?  And it has been in the main accepted.
