Angola and Turkey signed 10 cooperation agreements in several fields, as part of a two-day state visit of the Angolan President, João Lourenço, to that Eurasian country, which ended yesterday.

Agreements were signed in the areas of trade, economy, mineral resources and transport, as well as consular and diplomatic aspects.

The Angolan President's first day of work in Ankara began at the Ataturk Mausoleum, where he laid down a wreath of flowers and signed the book of honour.

For Wednesday, the last day of the visit, João Lourenço will participate in a business forum with dozens of entrepreneurs, to whom he will present Angola's economic potential and the multiple initiatives aimed at progressively improving the business environment.
