Set Order Into Your Life

"And he(Elijah) put the wood in order……" I Kings 18:33 NKJV

God's help is real and it fast tracks a man's destiny, but relying on divine help is not a reason for personal irresponsibility. As a matter of fact, divine help will flow in your direction to the degree to which you accept personal responsibility for your life and the desires of your heart. What God will deliver into your hand by reason of His help is a function of what you have taken responsibility for. Elijah needed God to send fire to consume the sacrifice on the altar after the prophets of baal had called and their god failed them. But Elijah did not leave the altar disorderly the way he met it, rather, he accepted personal responsibility by doing by himself what he ought to do before he called God to do for him what he couldn't do by himself. He first set the wood in order
and that was what triggered divine response in his direction.

In Luke 9:14, when Jesus was faced with feeding over five thousand men besides women and children(who obviously were more than the men), the first instruction He gave His disciples was to first set order into the place by organizing the multitude into groups and then God sent help by miraculously multiplying the food. This therefore means that wherever you want to see the tangible help of God you must obligatorily accept responsibility for order in that area.

Order means putting first things first. It is setting workable sysytems and structure in everything you do. An orderly person is an organized person. God does not move in a chaotic environment; only Satan does. The number one evidence of lack of order is chaos. Wherever you see chaos order is absent. Any life that lacks order will miss God's help.

Order requires serious discipline. It is bringing yourself under command (I Cor 9:27). Your ability to set order into your life and wherever you are is a proof that you possess the spirit of leadership. Order is not what you pray for, you must accept personal responsibility to make it happen in your life then you will become a candidate for the help of God.

Consciously set order into your life. Set goals for your life then go all out to make it happen relying absolutely on His help
