As of this writing (about 8:30am ET), the current rumor is that Chuck Schumer says he's got a temporary funding bill he expects to pass this morning that will keep the government funded through 3 December. I haven't seen anything about the likelihood of the House passing the same measure. It may be a busy day on Capitol Hill today.

If the government goes into a partial shutdown, it's likely that I'll be told to stop work as a NASA contractor. I'm fine with that. I could use a few days to catch up on some family business.
