It's almost like Trump's original promise to bring power out of DC and back to the people is literally happening right now. Does she realize the Constitution already put the state legislatures in control of this process? What do I mean by that? It's simple…it's all in the Constitution. It's called Article II, Section 1, Clause 2 and it reads like this: Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.
