Yesterday was kind of expected after the shortened holiday week. Nonetheless it was still painful and I have to say it probably highlighted that I may have a little too much shipping.
I just never seem to do well with shipping. ZIM was down 6.61% and that's after excluding a drop due to their 2.95 divi that went ex yesterday. ZIM is one of Chris's picks and I have to say I am not doing well on any of his picks so far. Only been in these names for a short time but, they are 100% red right now. Have I mentioned that I just hate friggin shipping?
I see J Mintzmeyer closed one of his shipping picks MATX with a 28% official loss. Luckily I did not follow his into this name. I think I may lighten up on some of my too numerous shipping names and try to concentrate on fewer. Like CMRE. I think my ZIM may be headed for the trash can.
