The Warriors are currently ranked 8nd in the NBA in points per game, and their offensive production is averaging 10.5 points per game and 1.8 rebounds per game. Injuries of course are the primary concern with Klay Thompson going down, and the Warriors are trying desperately to stay healthy. When you average back up with the guys who haven't been out of action, Golden State has very few opportunities for success. They will run down a few players in the draft but for now, it is a winnable decision for the best. It will help if Curry and Thompson are healthy.
Thompson is an elite shot blocker and very good rebounder. The Warriors are playing at a high level with Curry back on the court and we expect him to fill a huge void for an attack with Westbrook available. Curry is very similar to that of his teammate, Andre Iguodala in that he is a tremendous scorer while his offensive IQ is as good as he is comfortable with. Iguodala would definitely be a good fit for the Golden State Thunder as it will have to compete with the Warriors for minutes as both players will try to fit in at both positions.
