The most common reason why college kids avoid certain college campuses is that most universities have a "zero-tolerance" approach regarding homosexuality. While universities may find it uncomfortable to teach about homosexuality at, say, a fraternity or a sorority, they also find it particularly uncomfortable when it comes to teaching about homosexuality at the same time.
I had asked myself how often I've looked at the students and wondered if they're seeing different ways of understanding their own sexuality. In the last month, I've found that about half and one-fifth of the students I've seen are gay; they're talking about it for the first time, so I've wanted to know just how they feel about it.
To understand what this suggests, I've gathered an overview from a few surveys in recent years that have examined all of the students who have faced homophobia. They include students who are the subjects of a recent survey that analyzed the school, community, culture, and attitudes toward homosexuality, and students who attended college under the same political system as their peers. All of these are asking, "Do you feel like you're different from your peers?" and what they mean by different kinds of gay. I found that if you ask students about their sexuality, they're very likely to say that they feel different from their peers.

As a result, on Tuesday, on October 20, 2016, the FTC issued a Notice of Inquiry (NIP) to the US food processors. The NIP states:
"Each company must establish and report on compliance with the Federal Trade Commission Act, as amended (Pub. L. 101-258, 114 Stat. 656, for an entity operating or dealing in the production and distribution of human foods). The FTC does not apply an FTR requirement for food processors to disclose to the Federal Trade Commission information concerning their products or services. To the extent such disclosure of information by a company or its product or service provides information relating to an ingredient or product, such material does not meet the FTC's requirement of disclosure under this section.." While the FTC said they only need the FDA's written consent before filing such a complaint, we believe the actual process used was quite different. According to WTTG, the FTC filed a NIP notifying the FTC of an ingredient ingredient's FDA approval with the Food Standards Agency (FSA). It says that the FDA "shall request the Company make all reasonable efforts to obtain and report to the NIP the information and communications necessary to satisfy this requirement." [emphasis added]
