Instead, President Donald Trump named Trump's first pick, Dakota Access Pipeline Co CEO Rex Tillerson, to head the U.S. Energy Department. It's the most aggressive federal environmental policy on the planet, as well as a far more extreme than the so-called green agenda that's been developed by corporate elites.
One of Trump's strongest allies is ExxonMobil, which has played a key political card in his presidential campaign. (In fact, Exxon has even won $10 billion of campaign contributions from the White House — so the CEO could have gotten the president's attention.) There's also ExxonMobil's infamous $100 billion in tax loopholes that are already being used by Obama's administration for foreign travel and corporate tax evasion.
This is a serious blow to Trump, and a sign that things will get even more expensive in his two-year term. Trump's proposed budget could cut off jobs, cutting programs like EPA, which is supposed to do two things right: it will protect the American jobs that have made up so much of the U.S. workforce and it will cut off the jobs of those who pay little or no taxes.

Now that you know that Trump is a billionaire and is actively fighting the FCC for net neutrality, I hope you will listen to the president in your own words as he talks about how much of a gift that was.
