Donald Trump, who won praise from leading Wall Street Journal writer Matt Lauer for being the least-qualified Republican presidential nominee in American history last week, is not running for President, instead he's running for the White House. His most prominent campaign slogan? "Get the money out of politics."
"You can't run for President if your campaign is 'fraudulent.' " Republican strategists say Trump's plan is to blame it on a few bad apples. If he's going to make their mistake, he needs to get behind legislation to keep their promises to Americans.
To find out who owns the Trump Foundation and which of its backers, the U.S. Senate Ethics Committee needs to examine campaign finance records.
The committee must first examine the "donations to a Clinton charity and/or entities engaged in political activity and/or activity that are the subject of an investigation by the Department of Justice," the report says. Those donations "amount to $1 million or more." It lists $600,000 "that is attributable to individual donors in all but one of the four major U.S. federal elections, including the 2016 GOP primaries."
"They were solicited under the guise of ethics rules," the report says, including a law prohibiting campaign contributions from political activities with a conflict of interest.

Trump recently said he didn't want to bring back a deal between the two parties that would create tariffs on imports from China, saying he wanted to do more than meet his promise to reduce manufacturing emissions in order to meet his promise to reduce global global climate change. But it turns out that, as Trump's lawyer, Robert Mercer, told Wall Street Journal reporter J. Scott Applewhite last week, Trump has "never met" anyone who would build a road out to build the "gold standard" in North America. You know who's not interested in building roads out there? This guy.
To put it bluntly: Trump seems not to be quite willing to pull off the deal.
"He may not go because of some of those issues," Trump's attorney said during an ABC interview in late March. "Maybe he goes if some of these things are done right and he's got a plan and he's got a plan as he has in America to do this job for 50 years and to bring on the manufacturing and, that's one of the things that I've been saying for 50 years. Nobody in this country wants to bring that on when there's no plan that they can actually put together. If they do, they could get a tax cut in the form of that bill."

The new Trump "unofficial" endorsement marks the first time that a candidate was publicly offered the endorsement of a major party, and a further reminder that Trump's former policy adviser, Paul Manafort, has not always agreed with the views of political consultants with ties to the political world, such as former adviser George Papadopoulos, and his former political adviser, Carter Page, who resigned in December amid allegations of inappropriate behavior by a foreign government.
"The big, important thing to watch for is what the new Trump campaign will say about that endorsement and what the media will say," a political consultant involved in making the endorsements told POLITICO.
The new ad comes as Trump faces a tough Senate race, where his campaign has seized control of two key Senate races, including one that is still going to be contested, and two Senate races in New Hampshire and Pennsylvania. But some Republican strategists and some outside Republicans seem to feel that the new Trump campaign is showing signs of staying within its limits.

I'd bet that at that rate, he'd generate the 9,625 mil that would get him the 9 mil that would help him get the 2.5 mil that could get him the 2 mil that he could use and make him a billionaire. That's assuming the $15 mil are in fact not, so there isn't much more that you can spend your time wasting. I'm going to assume that you spend a large amount of work on a single subject. Your job is only to make money to use it until you win. As I've mentioned, he's already earned 7 mil but he's only $2,500 below the standard of 10 years ago. I've already given my advice, you're never going to go above 10 mil and you've done all you can to get to where you are today.
You could spend a year or two on his campaign and then come out with some decent ads and make $200 mil and then go back and give away the rest, so the next year would get you a nice enough deal. But that was way over budget and he would have won a lot more money by taking over the state of Nevada next year. If I ever see that situation again, I will.

What really goes through Trump's head when he's trying to create a national infrastructure plan is taking on a platform that's been very supportive of a candidate who only campaigned for his own party.
The idea is that Trump is saying what he thinks, and it could go through, but it's never going to go through — even if he's on a campaign trail.
Trump's first move came in June, when he gave a speech at Trump University. He pointed to a speech he gave in December when he said Americans did "not want a commander-in-chief who can command the military and he won't do them because he has a national security team." Trump said the speech would go through, and that the next day he received $200,000 a night in bonuses.
The idea is that when it comes to Trump's policies, he's going to have to work to get his campaign to a mass audience. He's got to be able to talk about something that resonates with voters at the polls. For a time, Trump's

A recent story in the New York Times detailed how George Clooney recently announced he would end his TV career during a televised speech criticizing Sen. Bernie Sanders for his role in the election. The ad, titled "You're Next on TV," shows Clooney and other celebrities at the moment of the event yelling, "Bernie, I'm with Bernie Sanders," while Sanders is reading a newspaper. Clooney, who has not publicly endorsed Sanders, told the Times that the Sanders campaign is not a candidate he would do business with.
Clooney said in 2014 he had a big hit with a TV ad for the Green Party of Massachusetts, but a few months later he wrote a speech which called for him to be barred from serving as president, declaring that he and the platform "are inextricably linked" and urged him to become a businessman.
"This ad has the potential for making you feel like a 'Bernie man,' a president who will always have me involved and will always do my part," he said, noting that if he can deliver on promises, he will "keep me in the know."
So, Clooney is a perfect candidate for this role. But what could he do if his campaign went out of its way to undermine his candidacy?

Then you've got a lot of leverage if you're not only going to do it but to give yourself more opportunity to do it and keep it in check.

If there are others who won't do, then look for the common-sense and altruistic principle that you do what you do best, and those who will only take advantage of it. And that's why they're a right-wing bunch that are willing to act like idiots and blame all those problems on us. The GOP is the right wing of the U.S., and they are trying to blame everything, not just for that, but all the time, on us.
So instead of being stupid or even selfish, we should give them what they want. We should be grateful that we don't have to.
