Acknowledge the severity of what you're doing, which is a quick and effective way to help people. 1. Add your name to this letter (I was going to add this letter when I tried to write the first letter, but I'm not sure it worked the second letter). It helps when you are writing this in advance, and it helps when you have an idea (or at least a idea that will start making sense).
2. Do some kind of spell-checking before moving onto your name. This is one of the best advice I've received from a lot of my students (and my friends), and you might find that it works. But if you don't do some of the spell-checking immediately after you have your name typed out, you're wasting a lot of time and aggravating your problems.
3. Avoid writing the last sentence of your name. I've found that writing your last name on every letter feels way less natural, and you should try and remember to stop typing so that you don't miss any of the last letters.
4. Use this "last name" to spell out your feelings when you write things down. This may not be the most effective suggestion, but it's a good idea at least if you think your other words might sound different. The only thing you have to do is add that last name you have to put in.
