In the case of Michael Brown, that copious amount of force was "clearly intentional," according to the Dallas Morning News. The Dallas Morning News reported earlier today that Brown's family and friends say Brown was being treated horribly by people in and around Ferguson.

There have been conflicting reports from police agencies as to whether Officer Yanez acted or not. If he did, it's highly likely he shot Brown just in case.
