As I have discussed in this interview, for decades, women have kept to a simple binary with regard to the pursuit of masculine ideals or career development. These roles often result in long-term male-male interactions, which, in contrast to the male-male relationship, are increasingly defined by the relationship's inherent strengths and vulnerabilities. So for many younger women, the decision to pursue an even more male-dominated career in the workplace requires more than simply a clear sense of "good enough" or "bad enough." Rather, it's about taking a long hard look at your own experience and seeing how you can do better.

As a feminist I am absolutely not a "female, cis, trans, intersex, gay, lesbian, bisexual, or queer". At least I do believe there is some merit in the fact that the world is gender-equivalent.
At least I did not believe that we were at a crossroads when it came to how to treat everyone while still promoting our ideals that have no place in the mainstream of contemporary society.
The fact is, we do not have universal acceptance. We do not have a global platform for our activism of all kinds.
