Stop Waiting And Start Engaging The Word (Pt. 2)
So Joshua said to the Israelites, "Why do you wait so long to take your land? The LORD, the God of your ancestors, has given this land to you. Josh. 18:3 (ERV)
What have you been waiting for God to do in your life? Does it seem like He has forgotten you? Have you wondered, "Why is God taking so long?" I want you to know that God is not the one delaying you; the LORD has done everything on His part, and it is now left for you to act on His Word and bring your miracle into reality. 2 Peter 3:9 says, "The LORD is not slack concerning His promise." God is never slack; it is believers who are slack in the name of waiting on God.
We are to wait on God for His instruction and guidance, but once God has made His instruction clear to you either through His written Word or through His accredited prophet, then what is expected of you is to swing into action in obedience to His instruction; you cannot say you're still waiting on God any longer. It is your obedience of faith to His instruction that will activate His power to work on your behalf. It, therefore, becomes imperative to engage the truth of God's Word radically for things to change to your desired outcomes.
Phil. 2:12b says, "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." It's entirely up to you to work out your prosperity, exemption, healing, and any other thing you desire by yourself. You have no one to blame, as you cannot abdicate the responsibility for the outcome of your life to someone else. Therefore, rise up and accept responsibility to make things happen. Be determined that this year will not pass you by, and that you will have tangible and measurable results to show for your life. When you switch to this mode of being proactive and action-oriented, the forces of Heaven will start working things out in your favour, and you will begin to enjoy divine exemption and every good thing Redemption has made available to you.
ACTION STEP
Make a lifetime commitment to always act promptly on every instruction God gives you.
KEEP IN MIND
Be determined that this year will not pass you by, and that you will have tangible and measurable results to show for your life.
