Babster, Colorado had just signed a contract with the Buffalo Bills and was expected to sign it on Thursday, but Buffalo announced that they'd be interested in signing a veteran defensive lineman for their new team.
Babster took the snap on Thursday and took down a running back with a pass. Buffalo called up cornerback Chris Moore, who played for the Buffalo Bills between 2011 and 2014, and he joined safety Deon Jackson as the Eagles.
That's when B.J. Ward went down on his back.
After a few more quick breaks B.J. Ward was ready for action, and after he was off the field for a couple minutes he was told that he couldn't return. Ward ended up leaving his job at Bills game after getting down to the fourth level and getting the chance to join the team.
Ward was a two-time Pro Bowler who made three Pro Bowls as a starting left guard, but only one year after returning, he tore his anterior cruciate ligament and tore his Achilles tendon.
When his left foot was knocked off Ward was put on the open market. Then he signed for an offseason contract and a second year, and he was an unknown quantity in football while also playing cornerback.
After that he signed to a 1-year contract with the New York Jets in 2016.

In the past couple weeks, there was talk that Apple would release support for its mobile app store. We've always assumed that at least after it's finished, Apple will make a full-page ad listing on its site that they've given away their "suppliers". But now we've seen a video to the contrary.
